BRCC Belgian Masters 2012
4 dagen voor de start en nog geen deelnemerslijst te vinden op site van de brcc. Zijn er meer deelnemers dan voorgaande races?

Toch even naar deelnemers dit jaar gekeken:
First Race Zolder: Short 15 / Long 28 Spa Juni: Short 23 / Long 35 Spa 3000 kM: short 19 / Long 26 Spa 24 uur: short 25 / Long 28 De verwachte groei waar men hoopte in de loop van het seizoen heeft dus nog niet plaatsgevonden. In die 35 van juni zitten er een aantal tussen die het zagen als een extra oefening voor de BES 24 hours een maand later.

Alhoewel het nog op een heel pak punten beter kan (o.a. communicatie naar de buitenwereld toe), vind ik dat een deelnemersaantal van 25 à 30 voor de Long Races dit jaar niet slecht is. We mogen ook niet vergeten in welke omstandigheden dit kampioenschap van start is gegaan, hé. Indien men voor volgend jaar het aantal deelnemers naar +/- 35 kan optrekken, dan kan men reeds van een tweede succesje spreken. Het eerste succes voor deze organisatie was namelijk dat ze er überhaupt nog in geslaagd zijn een kampioenschap te maken van de warboel die ze in handen kregen.
Nationale kampioenschappen in ons omringende landen kennen dan veelal wel grotere aantallen deelnemers, maar de vijvers waaruit men daar kan vissen zijn dan ook veel groter. Persoonlijk denk ik dat Kronos op de goede weg is.

Pegasus, zoals hierboven geschreven is men bij Kronos met het overgrote deel van de zaken op goede weg. Chapeau daarvoor. Denk dat we het daar met z´n allen eens kunnen over zijn. Maar inderdaad, hun communicatie naar de buitenwereld toe is (zacht uitgedrukt) voor heel wat verbetering vatbaar.

De amateur-autosport kent dan weer een sterke aanhang. Na 43 wagens in Mettet in september, zullen er op 28 oktober meer dan 50 wagens aan de start verschijnen in de 3H BGDC wedstrijd te Spa-Francorchamps
